You know that old joke about "You Know You've Been Online Too Long If...someone tells you a joke and you say "LOL" out loud"? Weeeell..... today I did it. *looks sheepish*

My beloved phoned me to let me know he'd been held up at work and would be late. I was making curry at the time I picked the phone up, and concentrating hard.

"I'm going to be late," he said, "I hope you're not cooking anything special."

"Lol," I said absent-mindedly.

There was a long pause the other end of the line, then he said rather waspishly, "Did you just say what I though you said?"

Yeah... *sighs* I'm afraid I did. But he deserves it for making me spoil the curry.
